The kick-off event for the Birkiebeiner ski race in Hayward, WI is the Barnebirkie.
A non competitive race for 1300 kids (age 3-14) skiing a short distance ending up on mainstreet.
It's a fun event to watch!

What a neat thing! My grandson would love this. At 3 1/2 he loves to ski already!
