Hairy critters, aren't they. Until you see one up close you never notice the hairs on Wasps and most Bee's.

Haha, so funny, I was wondering if we shared a species here in NA. Turns out one of the main wasp contributors on BugGuide uses Vespula Vulgaris, as his ID name.

Really nice detail and composition. I like that you were able to capture the wasp upside down. Blurring all but the wasp's head and front legs nicely draws the viewer's eye to that area without being distracted by the plant stem in the foreground and other areas of the image. I also like the orientation of this image with the stem on a diagonal, but the wasp hanging straight down while its body (is that the thorax?)extends backward into the distance. This gives this photo some nice depth.
