Clin d'oeil à Michelle: 2012 peut-être?

Going to run some last minute errands by foot, I came across this woodpecker in a little wood.
I ran back home to get my camera. Not my best shot of this bird, lots of branches in the way, but really happy it waited for me. :-)
Needless to say "never leave home without it"...

That's a beauty Julie! Love the soft focus on the surrounding and the bokeh created by the branches. Guess we both learned a lesson ... never leave home without your camera :)

Great catch of this pretty bird. Don't mind the branches, this gives the photo a much more natural look Hope you get many more photo opportunities next year too!
