Lovely June Ann. If you look closely, she's wearing a hearing aid.
Some people ask us many questions while being deaf and pregnant.
"How do you know what's going on while you are pregnant?"
"How can you hear the baby cry? What do you do?"
"How can you raise a child being deaf?"
"What if your child gets hurt and you can't hear her?"
My answer to these questions: We are capable and there
are modern devices to visually aid us in hearing our children.
Lights flash if the baby is crying, being too loud. We also
don't let our children out of our sight, thus watching our
children better than a lot of hearing parents.
