Turtle Watch on Hutchinson Island
The first turtle we saw, but she didn't stay and lay her eggs
Turtle 2 with Melody and Rick
Turtle 2 catching a wave.
We saw a little turtle heading back to the ocean after laying her eggs
Turtle 3 - all but one of the turtles we saw were Loggerheads.
Rick and Melody petting the turtle
Rick and Melody at 11 pm, on the lookout for more turtles
Rick's Birthday turtle on its way back to the ocean
Big Bertha must have been 400 pounds. This was the 5th turtle we saw tonight. She's a Leatherback.
The whole process of digging the whole, laying the eggs, and traveling to and from the water takes about 90 minutes
Time to swim away
I'm outa here!
Fast in the water
Bon Voyage
