From Cairns we flew to Melbourne for a few days. We also took a full-day tour to Phillip Island.

First stop on Phillip Island...a koala preserve
I actually caught one koala moving and eating
It was nice to see koalas in their natural setting, but they do sleep quite a bit
wallabies everywhere in the preserve

These boxes were made for penguins to help them re-establish their homes on the cliffs

We weren't allowed to take pictures of the penguins at night, so this was taken at the museum to show the penguins we saw.
