In September 2019 I took four weeks to drive around central New South Wales, Australia. I passed through heaps of country towns, clocked up 5,000kms and camped beside some of Australia's most iconic rivers - the Murrumbidgee, the Lachlan and the Darling.
With my trusty camera I challenged myself to try and take a lightpainting image every night. But that turned out to be a bit ambitious for a number of reasons. I was simply too tired after a hard day's driving or sightseeing, or it wasn't really safe at some places to go out in the dark on my own, or I ran out of time to scout a location. This gallery shows the images I did manage.
