these paintings emerge from the grain of tree trunks,measuring 10 ft and 12ft - they are not imposed upon the wood as if it were a canvas or paper,but are already a part of the tree.They represent the elements, plus day and night, which form the entrance to a biblical garden at St.Cleer,Cornwall.
