It has been unusually warm and dry the past two months. Which is lovely for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors but not so nice for the salmon waiting to go upstream.
There is rain in the forecast for this week so for the first time in a very long time, those of us who live in the west coast rainforest are hoping for rain!
Since our Autumn colour was short-lived with very few opportunities for photos with all the rain shortly after I started this gallery, I decided to bring it to an end with some colour from 2009
when my Granddaughter Annie carried the torch into Butchart Gardens at the beginning of the Olympics in Vancouver.
The usual November winter storms are with us now so it's time for a new gallery. Thanks for visiting.
