nice gallery keep it up
Queen St. is a wonderful place and you captured it's spirit very well. Wonderful job!!
That is a very exciting and colorful view of Queen St.
really special collection, big vote!
my favorite street in my home town... some old and some new.. a seasoned torontonian..Alex..
given what I've noticed in your gallery, queen street seems like a great place to catch people interacting in a multifaceted urban environment. you should strive to capture more shots with an overt meaning, in which man and environment come together within the frame to tell a story or compose a message of some kind. it would give your photography that edge which would make it great rather than merely good.
i miss toronto, used to study there... and queen street, used to hang out there when i was young... great gallery
thank u for your gallery
it really helps me a lot
i'm a girl living in china
i hope i can visit this lovely town one day in the future
Jude, I am not surprised you are in love with this part our town, as you say in the introduction: "it's vibrant, colourfull, artsy and edgy", and so is your gallery my dear. You have done this street justice, many images are beautifull individually, but their strenght is as a part of this project, the feel and atmoshpere of the street is evident, looking through your gallery gives me the same feeling as if I was walking down the street. Truly enjoyed my visit here.
Aaaahh...THE Queen Street...
I miss TO :'-(
Been too long on the real "Spadina" (I'm living in China now).
Nice pics Jude!
lovely gallry you hae here .... I love it all.
Your 're at your best,
Toute cette vie, cette vibration !!!!
"Life" on you, my dear and respect for your talent
Great gallery. Shows the movement and life of the street. You will always see something to shoot on this street. Very funky...
what a complete collection of Queens street.
If you are interested, the Toronto PADers are meeting at High Park, in the Grenadier Cafe on Sunday Oct 24 at 2:00 in the afternoon ... hope you can join us!
Here is a map:
hi jude and thanks for your comments! yes, i would be interested in meeting. i am usually to be seen at my favourite watering hole, the Starbucks coffee shop opposite City TV!
Hi Guest .. I hope you return to this gallery some time to see this message. There is actually a small collection of PAD photographers in Toronto, and we are hoping to actually meet face to face one day (fairly soon!). If you would care to meet with us, leave an email address and I'll provide the particulars. Thanks so much for visiting my gallery. Toronto is a great place to photograph!
This is a bit of a seminal piece of work! Really marvellous use of colour and graphics. It's funny how life passes by and yet someone has the ingenuity to capture those same moments in time, moments that will never again be the same! Magic! I have only recently arrived in Toronto from England, where I had been photographing in monochrome medium and using only "classic" cameras, such as Olympus Trip 35, 35RC, XA and also real vintage cameras such as a Balda Baldix (with leather bellows!), Zeiss Nettar and even a Kodak Box camera!! I am attempting to use these here in Toronto also, but the older cameras tend to attract too much attention! I will possibly be posting some of my images here on this site in the very near future if I can find time to do it!
Great gallery Jude
Bravissima Jude !!!
A great walk through "Queen Street West". It looks like an interesting place...
I love this gallery - I love the colors, too!
Cool~ 0_0. (i am going to love Toronto more than five minutes ago... thanks. ^_^.)
Great gallery, very interesting and unique shots!
What a great gallery!!! Love your composition and colours. I see these places all the time and have taken many photos of them, but not at this detailed level. For anyone who wants to see more photos of Queen street, and many of them on the East side, please visit my "from_1209_queen_street_east_to_378_queen_street_west" gallery.
Just as Adalberto stated..one feels compelled to 'live' in this gallery.
Thank you very much for these nice pictures! You have a "British eye", with sense of composition, humour and good complete story in one photo. A good feeling of responding colours. I hope for you in future a better camera (slr) which prolong your sharpness and respect your feeling of poetry, because in one moment, the camera limit the progress. (i have experimented this!)
Thank you also for your visit and your judicious comments!
I agree Adalberto opinion!!
this is really a great gallery!
Wonderful "walk", seems really to stay there. And an expert guide you are, I love QSW!
Nice idea, wait for more.
