This is the most expressive image in the series for me, Jude -- it is the simplest, cleanest, and most emphatic. You build layer upon layer of meaning into this ominous landscape, incongruously contrasting the tiny flowers against the massive waves of grasses surrounding them. The flowers, and the grass that surrounds them, form the foreground layer, an anchor made possible by wideangle optics and a close vantage point. The field of grass reaching to the sea form the middle ground transitional layer. The sea and sky combine to form a final layer, stretching to infinity. The point is made beautifully -- nature's power and magnitude knows no boundaries.

A wonderful, ominous mood. Those little flowers are the perfect anchor point.
