All I can think of is all the salvageable materials in there that will probably be destroyed. I wonder how many salvageable lives met the same fate there.

Heavens, I saw this was of the psych hospital so my immediate reaction was that this is some kind of restraint device !

Very nice Jude - what add's to the sense of abandonment, is the dust and dirt underneath the mechanism, great shot.

There's a deep sadness about an abandoned bowling ally in a phsyc ward. I guess there was a sadness there before it was abandoned too. Great capture. This one really made me think.
