This is gonna be tough...ummm...here it goes. Mr. Fahrenkrug and Ms. Allen, Jim Puerner,
Lisa James, me, Veronica Burton, John Walters, Pam McNeil, Bill Hoff, Mark Bornhoefer,
Denise Behnke, Ed Strezlcyk (sp?), Betsy Komives, Phil Schemel, Phil Neidner, Carrie ? Stevens,
Carson Fleming, Marie Warwick, Donnie Betts, Loudon "Lee" Campbell, Josephine Calatola, David
Maxwell, Kathy Kohli, Wayne Dansby. This is the year we did the Ohio State tests. We had gym
class and kept our shoes under our seats. A lunch cart came once a week and you could buy a
lunch ticket for the week or just for a day. Milk cost 2 cents a carton. Everyone fought to be
in charge of selling the milk. When someone got sick in class they poured saw dust over it until
it was dry, then the janitor came and swept it away. Someone's dad in another 4th grade class
shot a bear and brought the bear skin to school. Mark Sitzwohl injured his foot in a lawn mower
and was on crutches most of the year. We felt bad for him. Sarah Eagan kicked everyones butt in
the 40 yard dash. Yes. EVERYONE! Ed Strezlcyk's dad worked at a foreign car dealership and he
always had decals and stickers with him to trade. On Saturdays "Bowling for Dollars" and
"All-Star Wrestling" was on. When you went back to visit Donges Bay you then realized how low
the bubblers were to the floor.
