Wife of William Sanders Sharp, MD (1818-1876), son of Richard Sharp, MD (1792-1825), son of Moses Sharp (1757-1820)

Mary and William Sharp had 2 children:
Hoard Sharp (1846-1905), MD, died in Sharpsburg. Married Fannie B. Colegrove. Daughter Belah and daughter Susie L. Sharp.
Ella Hoard Sharp (1856- ). Married James W. Elgin (1857- ). Daughter Winifred Elgin (member DAR 95495) married Stanley Forman Reed.
