Parked outside the Carter Cemetery, which is located to the right hand side of this photo.
The roadway behind our vehicle is the Lower Sharpsburg Road, but locals tell us it was once named the Lower East Union Road and
that is where it leads to out of Sharpsburg.
East Union is the left and Sharpsburge to the right of this photo.
