Photos from our trip to Peru September 6-15 2012. Fellow travelers were the same as our last trip, and included Mike & Chris, John Rogner and Sue Ellston, and Steve Apfelbaum and Susan Lehnhardt. We spent eight nights along the Tambopata River in southeast Peru, at Posada Amazonas, Tambopata Research Center and Refugio Amazonas. What is not evident from these images is that the weather was extremely hot, with heat indexes of 110-125+ every day. We spent another day plus near Lima, taking a day trip to Pucasana and Villa Marshes.
