SMCC was the beautiful venue for the 2013 National Alliance on Mental Illness Walk in Maine. After a dense early morning fog lifted the sun shone through on a sunny day. Approximately 800 people walked from Spring Point Light to Bug Light and back. Cheryl Ramsay, in her first year as walk director, did a tremendous job along with her dediccated team. Unum participated again this year not only to raise funds for NAMI Maine's important work, but to remember our friend and colleague Greg Schlieper and to help end the stigma of mental illness.
