Beautiful sunlight bathes the foreground tree in a luminous glow, standing out against the deep woodland shadows. The winding stream leads the eye into the forest, where autumn gold mingles with evergreen. A peaceful scene with an almost sacred quality to the light...V
I love the variations in light and the different shades of autumn colors. The stream on the left seems to have dried up halfway along its path. Perhaps it generously provided extra water to the vegetation along its course, allowing it to build up reserves for the winter? ~VVVVV++~
