An ancient wooden village loom stands proudly in the centre of this rustic workshop. Its dark, weathered beams contrast beautifully with the colourful threads and partially woven cloth. Old spinning wheels and traditional tools complete the scene, evoking a slower, simpler way of village life. The image is a wonderful tribute to the skill and patience of early weavers....V

Nice detail and color. I know if a place in Crossnore, North Carolina—"The Weaving Room of Crossnore School," that teach weaving on traditional old looms like this.

I love the old looms, and assume this one is still in good order and still used. VV

An informative photo. Nice to see this piece of cloth as a demo showing how this ancient creation worked. ~VVVVV~
