This year, in addition to playing tennis and birding the Barra de Navid area of southern Jalisco, I added three days of birding the San Blas area of the State of Nyarit. There were four of us lead by Mark Stackhouse, a guide who resides in the town of San Blas. Mark guided us through several different habitats from marshes to tropical mountain forests.
