Lifeguard Tower - Biscayne Bay
This is at the COUNTY park, not the national park. We unfortunately got to the National Park too late to get in, which is a shame because we were looking forward to glimpsing the lights of Miami from across the bay. Another time maybe.

Christmas Tree at Downtown Disney
We visited the tourist trap that is Downtown Disney. It's the nightlife hot spot for Disney World resort patrons, as well as for folks to buy Disney souvenirs in bulk (it's the Sam's Club of the theme park world).
Ah well, it's still fun to go to. Just like Gatlinburg... Pigeon Forge... Estes Park...

Extraterrestrial Endorsement for Volkswagen?
Lots of people, and E.T. it seems, were at Wickham Park for Volksfest. A large, varied collection of Volkswagens from around the state were on display. Among the many displays: Boston Lobsterfeast's "Lobster Car", the Truly Nolen VW Beetle limousine, and various iterations of the "Herbie" cars.
