The top half of the frame shows the rear of a home devastated by Katrina, this frame is looking toward the gulf. The flood wall is about 200 feet from the front wall of the home. The bottom half shows the front. Notice the first floor walls forced through the home by the flood surge. Both frames were shot as night fell, without any street lights or other electric illumination to aid exposure. The bottom frame was bumped up 2 1/2 stops in Photoshop to make it viewable. It was shot about 30 min. after the upper frame.
