Sharpless 2-101 (Sh2-101) HII emission nebula in Cygnus. Taken July 23, 25 and 26 2008 with a CCD
Labs Q285M on a C80ED at f7.5 and an ASGT mount. H-alpha subframes were 6 min and the RGB subframes
were 2 minutes each. H-alpha was used as the Lumiance and blended in with the R and B channels (for
H-alpha and H-beta). The final composite was processed in the following LRGB combination:
(Ha) : (R+Ha) : G : (B+Ha) and the total exposures were Ha =198 min, R =42 min, G =44 min, B =44 min.
Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and
sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up
