San Juan de Duero (Soria - Spain)

The monastery is a clear example of Romanesque architecture, with one nave covered with wood, with a semicircular apse and a pointed barrel vault.
It belonged to the order of the 'Hospitalarios' society of Jerusalem since the twelfth century until it was abandoned in the eighteenth century.
The 12th century church, and the cloister, from the early 13th century, are unique.
