I wanted to do an experiment with my Nikon D50 D-SLR, I wanted to shot 36 exposures
with out looking at them until I had shot them all and put them on my computer. The
hole point was to see how well I woud do with out seeing the images or looking at
the histogram. Just like in the film days you could not see what you had shot
and had to use only your settings, I have not edited any of these images,
and shot some of them on different days.
interesting. but in a contest, digital wins hands down. better metering and other features cause the DSLR to give better results automatically. My old film SLR didn't even have a meter! its just a lot easier to get good results now. I wouldn't want to go back to the old days. Even pro's felt they did well getting 10-15% of their rolll to be much good.
