Your use of black without detail is so foreign to my "photography upbringing" and yet when you do it it is perfect for the occasion and adds so much. I have tried your approach and on mine it looks fake. A big vote for the image and the process.

Nice composition. I like how the road leads from the corner to the center of the image while the tracks seem to do the same from the other side. You've also captured great energy in this shot in the sky. The high contrast of the black and white works well. Voted.
I love strolling through your images, and see what I have missed! The lines of the rail and the leading road that lead you to the sky is just brilliant. The pov is perfect for this effect and once again, your tones are perfect. I could vote for your work all day long!
Very beautiful...seems like there is always something intangible to me about a great black and white photo such as this has that color can't carry across. Maybe it involves us 'cause we've got to fill in the blanks(color) there's just something universal about it and how it can get mood across so well. This is one beautiful shot. The tones, the way the composition is balanced...but mostly it brings back memories and imparts a strong mood. Very nice work.
