The Tampa Bay Hotel

The Tampa Bay Hotel was closed in 1930.
Today it is used by The University Of Tampa and is known as Plant Hall.
The South wing of the building houses the Henry B. Plant Museum which is a wonderful look at the gilded age in this area.

An excellent series of three here. The light sepia toning enhances a feeling of a bygone era.

The hotel looks a bit like a Maharajah 's Palace and your great work on this image make us think it is a photograph from the past India when the British ruled the country.

gilded age indeed...the exterior alone speaks of wealth and opulence...the strong POV show a dynamic look at the structure..
