Much of the beautiful art has been defaced and some has been replaced with graffiti or it has been added over it.
Vandals have done much damage and thieves have ripped out the walls to strip out the wiring.
I have learned that these paintings were done from some contemporary photographic portraits.
It is said to be the most haunted place in Oklahoma.
For me it was a place of terrible beauty.
I came away in awe and very unsettled.
