U.S. Route 66
Also known as The Mother Road.
Some refer to it as The Main Street Of America.
Stretching 2,448 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica, California.
I live 30 miles South of it in Oklahoma. It is the subject of so much nostalgia.

Seeing this image makes me think of Simon & Garfunkel song about seeing America. Nostalgic, exciting and adventurous especially in a Corvette. Love the feeling of freedom!! VV

Tod Stiles & Buz Murdock...we travelled Route 66 every Saturday night from the comfort of the couch in the early 60's :) ahhh, the memories :)
