Definitely in colours, in my opinion!
But I’m partial since I’m not too fond of black and white except for certain kinds of portraits.
I think a little more of contrast here, in the colour version would make this photo even more effective.
The textures are very interesting and I think they can be enhanced without losing their graphic elegance.

Color, unless the B&W version has stronger contrast to counteract the whiteness of the sidewalk. Great POV.
