It has been raning nonstop here for three days. Of course it has...I have the new camera and lens to try out, so the weather has been miserable! Murphy's law of photography equipment or some such thing.



Anyway, many areas around here have closed roads, home flooded and very high water. Our town will probably never flood again, unless we have rains of Biblical proportions - due to the levee that was built after the devastating flood of 1913. A whole lot on the internet about that flood if you're interested. However, the water is really high and there are many areas where creeks have come out of their banks and low areas that are badly flooded.
