It's really difficult to take an interesting photo of a floor! This is as good as it's going to get. We replaced our family room carpet with hardwood today. We're paying a friend of ours with construction experience to do the installation. (Thanks Michael!) Not quite finished yet with the moulding at the walls etc. and we're extending it into the hallway / entryway as well...but those aren't finished yet.

It really looks nice and that carpet should have just been condemned, it was so gross. Really hoping to have the all remodeling projects complete by Christmas.
