This Interlocking Tower was originally located on the grounds of Pennsylvania Station in Baltimore. When it was scheduled to be demolished, the City of Bowie, MD came to the rescue. However, they never realized their plans to put the building to use. The Town of Sykesville stepped in and purchased the building, which was stored in pieces, unprotected from the elements. It was moved here and reconstructed in 2001 and houses the "Old Main Line Visitor Center & Post Office". See http://www.bullsheet.com/news/200305.html for more information.
