Loleta, California

On a set of high rolling hills above the mouth of The Eel River in northern California - sits the small town of Loleta. A weed choked railroad bed speaks to a time of livelier commerce here. I'm impressed by the unique, quirky, and innovative architecture that define the homes of this delightfully different town. Loleta is about 12 kilometers south of the coastal city of Eureka.
