This poor scrawny eucalyptus tree can't hold a candle to the oft' photographed and famous Monterey Cypress Tree. (Trees shouldn't hold candles, anyway) - Yet I'll suggest this is perhaps the most photographed tree on earth. Usually - no one is conscious of it being in their shot as they click the shutter - yet there it is - in almost every picture taken of The Golden Gate Bridge.

This sad little wind-swept tree - atop the hill on the northern side of the gate.
