The sparsely populated west side of the Sacramento Valley. Almonds, walnuts, and rice have historically been grown here. Consistent with what's happenning throughout the coastal plains of the west - wine is rapidly expanding here. I suspect this farm is preparing for wine grape introduction. (I'll report back whether right or not). This is one of my favorite areas to photograph and explore. A section of country - lost in time.
