We've been here before.

The rain drenched parking lot of The Nantucket Restaurant. A somewhat normal sight during the California winter. The customers seem to take it in stride.

My first exposure with the Canon 5D - Mark II.

Amazing. I didn't realize until I processed this the next day - the hand-held exposure is 1/13th of a second - at f/2.8 no less! ISO 50.
A little sharpening in Photoshop. Really - just a little. I was seated in my car with the engine off - so I had a stable base - but still - hand held!

Shooting RAW at 21.1 megs.

I did what any resourceful photographer would do and drove into the middle of this mini-lake. It keeps the mud off the shoes (and the tripod).
