The small picturesque lake known as the Kaltwassersee is no longer an insider tip. Thanks to its scenic location, it has become a popular destination for day-trippers and photographers in the region. This impressive little reservoir is just a few hundred metres down from the middle station of the Rosshütte mountain lift system and is easily accessible. Whether you are enjoying a day’s hiking or an e-bike tour, you should definitely take the chance to take a break and cool off at the Kaltwassersee.Although swimming is not allowed in the lake, you can sunbathe and relax on one of the many benches along the lake. When the surrounding mountain peaks are reflected in the crystal-clear water and the Hochegg Alm awaits you with some delicious refreshments, just a feew meters walk away, you are enjoying already the perfect holiday moment.
