The Convent of Mary Reparatrix, also known as the Convent of the Reparadoras, is one of the most fascinating and least-known corners of Jerez de la Frontera, a city rich in historical and cultural heritage. This convent, located on Chancillería Street, near Plaza de San Juan, is a prime example of the Neo-Mudéjar style, an architectural trend that incorporates elements of Islamic art adapted to the needs and tastes of late 19th and early 20th-century Spain. The convent was founded by the Order of the Reparadoras, formally known as the Slaves of the Blessed Sacrament and the Immaculate Conception, who arrived in Jerez in 1898.
