Tarasp-Fontana. Lake Tarasp
The lake has an area of about two hectares and is located at an altitude of 1404 m. On the south side, Tarasp Castle rises on a rocky cone at an altitude of almost 1500 m .The water body lies in a hollow without an outlet. In May 2006, an extinction of noble crayfish of unknown origin was recorded.The large population of mussels and fish was not affected.
