Designed by Gilles Clément, the garden is an integral part of the Quai Branly museum: a bushy garden, it extends over 18,000 m². A unique space in Paris.A place of nature and culture, the garden is an invitation to travel : paths, small hills, paths paved with torrent stone, ponds conducive to meditation and daydreaming... 169 trees and around thirty plant species are gathered here: oaks and maples on the north side, magnolias and cherry trees on the south side. Thanks to the construction on stilts, the garden passes beneath the museum, the belly of which is planted with undergrowth grasses: it is outside that the museum visitor will find the ticket office. At the heart of the garden, in an open-air theater, shows, conferences, and open-air concerts are also scheduled.
