The Railgang (heist)
This work by Van der Linden is based on the story of the Tottenham Outrage, an armed robbery of a London factory in 1909.A gang of armed criminals stole the workers' wages from the factory. They were then chased by the police for two hours, with part of the chase taking place on a tram.Painter Klaas Van der Linden (Zottegem, °1986) depicts people and objects in bright colours, with the contrast between light and dark being essential. In addition to murals, he also creates paintings with a unique combination of acrylic and spray paint on canvas. He started with graffiti and street art at the age of 12, and studied free graphic arts at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent.
