Commissioned by the olive oil merchant Pere Gasull i Roig, the building was to combine two homes for his children with 1000 m2 of storage and the company's offices. Domčnech i Montaner designed a large building that contrasts with the style of the neighboring house, Casa Rull, also Domčnech's work done ten years earlier. The change in style towards Noucentisme is obvious. Even so, the facade retains some of the characteristic elements of the architect such as a fabulous ceramic mosaic made in an artisanal way.
