Plaça de Prim

Plaza Prim is the central square of the city of Reus. It is named after General Juan Prim y Prats who has a dedicated equestrian statue in the center of the square. The square has four different sides: to the south, the old Hotel de Londres is today a building mainly for offices and the famous Jordi men's hairdresser with several international awards and recognitions; in the north, the old Casino (now an establishment of the Viena chain) is flanked by the Fortuny theater and the Círculo de Señores on the left and the old Banca Catalana building (now Optica Salas) on the right; to the east all are old houses with shops on the ground floor; and to the west the two large banks, BBVA and Banco Santander
