Trail to Santa Brígida Chapel
Set on a cliff top with amazing views of the valley, the Chapel of Santa Brígida was built in the 11th century as a chapel dependent on the Monastery of Santa Maria d’Amer. The basic structure of the building, consisting of a nave terminated by a semicircular apse, is Romanesque, although the west façade, crowned by a bell gable, is the result of significant alterations carried out in the 17th century. Restored in the 1990s, a social gathering is held there on the first Sunday in February.
