Cala Nans Lighthouse was built at 26 meters above the sea in 1856. The distance of about 3 kms from the center of Cadaqués to the lighthouse is one of the most beautiful coastal path ways that can be done in this area of Cap de Creus, because you will find so through it so emblematic creeks as Sa Conca or Sa Sabolla, often with precious overlooking views to the white village of Cadaqués. The lighthouse, disused since the 30s of XXth century, has good facilities for the lighthouse keeper (3 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, garden, cistern, office) as this is the only lighthouse of Catalonia which could not be reached with motor vehicle.
