Jardins Pinya de Rosa (Pinya de Rosa Tropical Gardens)
The Tropical Botanical Garden -Pinya de Rosa- is located in the Costa Brava area, between the towns of Blanes and Lloret de Mar. The place, which has about 50 hectares, combines science and art in every corner.Pinya de Rosa is the work of Dr. Industrial engineer Fernando Riviere de Caralt, who was very passionate about the Garden, dedicated a large part of his life, from 1945 to 1992, to the beautiful natural environment reinforced by his landscape work.The Tropical Botanical Garden includes about 7000 species of different genera, sometimes from their natural habitat, nurseries and private collections.It is worth mentioning the collections of Aloes, Agaves, Yuccas and Opuntias, many of them considered the best in the world.
