ATENEU CANETENC (LIBRARY)
One of the first architectural commissions of Lluís Domčnech i Montaner was the Ateneu, erected between 1884 and 1885. The building, erected on an old house, has been the headquarters of various cultural and political associations. It is now the library, thanks to a total restoration of the building between 1991 and 1999. A building of moderate lines with wrought iron railings, abundant red sgraffito and a large rose window with stained glass in the center. the dome and lightning rod of the forging dragon.
