Mediterranean Pine tree
Pinus pinea is also known as the Italian / Spanish Stone pine or Pine nut tree. The Pinus pinea is a tall spreading coniferous tree, with twisted, green needles.The Stone pine tree produces brown cones which contain the edible Pine nuts. The Pinus Pinea is a tall spreading tree, which can reach a maximimum height of 12-20 meters. This hardy Pine tree is just perfect for the Mediterranean garden.
