That's the heart of the historical centre of Lucca, a very few steps from everything you may need: groceries, the access to the top of the Wall, the weekly market place, restaurants, pizzerias and parking if needed.At the end of the street you will find the statue named Madonna dello Stellario dated back to 1687.. and just to confirm the combination of history and modernity ... in front of the statue you find the gorgeous contemporary art museum and on the other side the beautiful San Francesco Square with its church just renovated. Here also is the fountain with a very good water (locals stop here to take water to drink at home!!)
